Every project begins with understanding where you are now your site, brief, budget, timing and the decisions already made.

Where the project is the right fit for Akasne, Feasibility will generally become the first paid engagement, allowing us to understand the property and project properly before preparing the main architectural proposal.

What happens next
01. Submit your enquiry
Tell us about your site, what you are hoping to achieve, the current project stage, approximate construction budget and preferred timing.
02. Project Review
Akasne reviews the project information, location, scope, complexity and timing to determine whether the commission aligns with the studio's expertise and current availability.
03. Initial Conversation
Where the project appears aligned, we will arrange an initial conversation to discuss the site, brief, budget, priorities and any work or decisions already completed.
This conversation allows us to understand what you are trying to achieve and determine the most useful way to begin.
04. Feasibility
For most new residential and development projects, Feasibility is the first paid engagement with Akasne.
Before preparing the main architectural proposal, we review the property, planning framework, project brief, known constraints, budget expectations and the information or specialist consultants likely to be required.
The objective is to understand the project before significant design fees are committed.
05. Architectural Proposal
Once Feasibility is complete and the project pathway is understood, Akasne prepares the architectural proposal based on the actual property, scope and project requirements.
Where you proceed into Akasne's architectural service, the Feasibility fee already paid is credited against the architectural fee.
From there, the project moves into Concept Design and the wider architectural process.
Already have drawings or an existing project?
Not every enquiry will enter Akasne at the beginning of the process. Where substantial design or documentation already exists, we will first review the work completed and recommend the most appropriate point of engagement.
